Propane Services
Warren County Oil can provide materials and installation of your gas service on the outside of your structure. We offer 120, 250, 500 and 1,000-gallon propane tanks for sale or rent. Our team can install regulators and gas line on the outside of your home or business and can also make repairs to your propane tank if needed.
Warren County Oil offers several delivery and payment options so that you can pick the one that works best for you. We accept cash, check and major credit cards. You must have a credit account established with Warren County Oil to take part in any of our programs. Print copies of our Credit Application, Tank Rental Agreement and Auto-Fill Agreement to get started.
Auto-Fill
This a program where your delivery person will check your tank and fill it periodically. With this program, you may take an 8-cent per gallon discount off the propane delivery ticket total if payment is in the company office within 10 days from date of delivery.
Will-Call
Order propane when you need it. Will-call customers must place their order at least one business day before needing a propane delivery to avoid a same-day delivery charge. Will-call customers may take a 4-cent per gallon discount off the delivery ticket total if the payment is in the company office within 10 days from the date of delivery.
Quantity-Discounts
You can receive a discount off the daily retail price if you can take a large propane delivery at one time. We offer a 1-cent discount per 500-gallons delivered, up to a total of 4-cents on 2,000 gallons delivered at one time.
Knowing what propane prices will be next winter is like predicting what the exact temperature will be each day next winter. That is why Warren County Oil offers three price protection contracts for our customers who prefer to lock-in their propane costs and not be subject to future price changes. There is no guarantee you will save money with any of these contracts. These contracts have various enrollment and expiration dates as well as requirements. A brief description of each contract follows:
This contract allows you to lock-in a price on propane for the upcoming winter season. You are required to pay 100% of your propane contract amount at the time the contract is written. There is a minimum contract quantity of 500 gallons. No payment discounts are offered when using this contract. Contract gallons must be delivered to your tank by March 31—the end of the contract period. Any gallons delivered in excess of contract quantity will be billed at the daily retail price. This contract can only be purchased during the summer months.
This contract allows you to lock-in a price on propane for the upcoming winter season. You are required to pay a 50-cent per gallon deposit at the time the contract is written. You will be billed the balance as you take delivery of the propane with payment required according to our normal credit policy. There is a minimum propane contract quantity of 500 gallons. No payment discounts are offered when using this contract. Contract gallons must be delivered to your tank by March 31—the end of the contract period. Any gallons delivered in excess of contract quantity will be billed at the daily retail price. This contract can only be purchased during the summer months.
This contract allows you to spread your propane costs over a 12-month payment period and also provides a maximum price-per-gallon on the propane used. You will be charged the daily retail price or budget billing maximum price, whichever is lower. This propane contract requires estimating your usage for the upcoming year and establishing a required monthly payment. The first payment of the contract year is made in July. We review your budget billing account balance periodically and adjust the payments to provide a zero balance at the end of the contract period. Your payments over the contract year may increase or decrease, depending on your actual usage over the winter. Your tank is monitored and filled by your delivery person as long as your monthly payments are made in a timely manner. No discounts are offered when using this program. This program must be applied for prior to July 1—the start date.

Propane storage tanks are subject to restrictions on placement in relation to buildings, property lines and some other utility services. The size of the gas line from the tank to your house is dependent on the distance of the run and appliances in your home.
